Guns N’ Roses Pay Tribute To Kobe Bryant With Performance Of ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’

Axl Rose dedicated Guns ‘N Roses’ “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna at this year’s Super Bowl Music Fest in Miami. The festival is a three-day event that led up to the big game, and featured performances by Guns ‘N Roses and Snoop Dogg Friday night (Jan. 31) at the American Airlines Arena.

He went on to pay tribute to the NBA champion and his 13-year-old daughter, who were two of the nine people who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif., last weekend.  Axl said: “I want to dedicate this to Kobe and his daughter and everyone on the flight and everyone in the families and everyone impacted by this terrible event.”
